Nora

“Freedom has no price”

Nora immigrated from Algeria three years ago. Her story is not the one we are used to hearing about. Nora had a good life in Algeria where she ran a successful accounting company inherited from her father. She was married, had a big house and two children. However she was not happy in her mariage or as a women in Algeria. She yearned for freedom; freedom to wear and think what she wanted to, freedom to have coffee on the street (In Algeria, women are not allowed in coffee places), and freedom to be herself. She decided to free herself from what others (family and friends) thought she should be. To do that she had to leave everything behind and move to Europe. Barcelona is a fresh start for her. She tells us about her experience in this 60 second film.
