Enrique was born in Mexico and moved to Barcelona to study to become a chef. After being accepted into one of the best European cooking school he had a life changing experience, the proximity to the dead bodies of animals in the kitchen made him aware of what it means to eat the meat he liked so much. From one day to the next during his first week at school he became vegan. He continued to learn to be a chef but could not try any of the meat dishes he was learning how to make. He started at the same time walking his own path towards becoming a vegan chef. We filmed him cooking us fantastic tacos and later interviewed him about his perception of food and life. An inspiring and challenging portrait for the one’s who are still tempted by the occasional burger!
