MAWMAW

Did you ever wonder who picked your coffee? How the beans are selected? Mawmaw is a young girl working in a coffee factory in the North of Myanmar. At 20 she is the only person providing for food and money for the education of her younger siblings. Slowly, she is saving up to become a seamstress and in the meantime smiles and enjoys her current work sorting one by one the coffee beans for export. It’s sometimes difficult to imagine that behind our coffee break, there is a person, a story, dreams, hopes and hard work.
