MYANMAR | May is just a girl trying her best to become the adult she would admire. She jumps full heartedly into any chance she gets to get involved in actions that “seem right” as she says. Through this personal story, we feel like giving hommage to an entire generation that is trying to amend the many mistakes of the ones who preceded them. We are in Myanmar, and yet, this portrait has a very global tone to it and reminds us of the big topics and battles of our era. Today, Myanmar is facing challenging times for freedom and young people like May are fighting everyday for democracy.
